In 1989 Kitty City began sharing the love of cats with visitors from all over the world at San Francisco's PIER 39. Kitty City's distinct sign, a cat viewing the city lights of San Francisco, welcomed visitors to our gift store.

To share our cat-theme gifts with the world, Kitty City launched its ecommerce website in the year 2000. In April 2003, we closed our doors at PIER 39 enabling us to focus on the Kitty City website and to offer our unique selection of gifts exclusively at www.kittycity.com.
